Dylan Thomas Sprouse and Cole Mitchell Sprouse (born August 4, 1992) are American identical twin brothers and actors, sometimes collectively referred to as DC Sprouse or the Sprouse Twins. They are perhaps best known for their roles in the film Big Daddy, and for portraying the title characters on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. As a result of the series' success, they have become "overwhelming draws" among tween audiences.
Sprouse Twins "are professionals" November 29, 2007
Cole and Dylan Sprouse have been working in the entertainment industry since they were six months old. Before getting their uber popular Disney show, "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody", they debuted on the big screen with Adam Sandler's Big Daddy comedy. And since then, the Sprouse twins never looked back. But unlike other teen stars, Dylan and Cole Sprouse have not allowed their fame to go into their head, and they still maintain commendable work ethic and a sense of responsibility. Says their current movie producer, Joe Reilly, "To say [the Sprouse brothers] are 'becoming popular' would be the understatement of the year. They're huge. But they are very mature for their age, very disciplined very smart and professional. Their major fan base is anywhere from age seven to 16, and there's been hundreds of them showing up [on sets]. But the boys are professionals. They handle it very well." Way to go Cole and Dylan!!! Hope you won't ever change =)
Sprouse twins' new movie! November 14, 2007
Cole and Dylan Sprouse are definitely the busiest twins in this side of the world! The two just finished filming "A Modern Twain Story: The Prince and the Pauper", and now they're doing another movie with Mark Twain's characters. The tentative title for the twins' new movie is "The Kings of Appletown", a modern adaptation of the much-loved classic Tom Sawyer. Dylan and Cole Sprouse, along with costar Victoria Justice (Zoey 101), are right now filming on location in New Braunfels, Texas. The movie scheduled for release next year.
As for "The Prince and the Pauper", it premiered in Los Angeles last November 10 and 11 in Sunset Laemmle 5. The movie is all about Eddie Tudor (Cole Sprouse), a very successful but unhappy teen actor, and Tom Canty (Dylan Sprouse), a poor teen who hopes to live a life like Eddie's. When they met, they decided to swap places, but things went out of kilter quickly. The movie will be released early next year under Sony Pictures. Watch out for it!
Sprouse twins not rushing into dating October 17, 2007
Bad news girls, Cole and Dylan Sprouse (of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody fame) aren’t into dating yet. The 15-year old actors admit to occasional dating but revealed that they are both currently single. Says Cole Sprouse, “We're single right now…my brother and I try to stay away from dating actresses actually. Because it can get a little crazy…because usually all the kids that we work and we're friends with are on Nickelodeon and on Disney shows…” The Sprouse twins’ casual dating routine includes going to the movies and long walks on the beach. Mmm, romantic! So, have they ever fought over a girl? Dylan Sprouse says no, though he shares that they often fight over petty things. He says, “We fight over weird things,” and Cole adds, “[We fight about] who gets the last scoop of ice cream. We we're on the set one time and we were having a fight and my brother took me in to my dressing room and so we're wrestling on the floor…” Oh yeah, bring it on guys! Typical teenage boys behavior I must say, lol!
